Bradie Ewing Camp & Combine

The Bradie Ewing Youth Camp & Combine is a one-day football experience designed for athletes entering 4th–8th grade who want to build strong fundamentals and prepare for the upcoming fall football season. Whether athletes are playing flag football, rookie tackle, or tackle football this fall, this camp is designed to help them hit the ground running.

Athletes will be grouped by age and experience to ensure instruction is appropriate for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players.

Camp Date: August 3 | 4:30–7:00 PM
Location: Richland Center High School
Cost: $25 per athlete (scholarships are available for families experiencing financial hardship).

The Bradie Ewing Youth Camp & Combine is a one-day skills camp focused on building the core fundamentals every young football player needs to be successful. Designed for athletes entering grades 4–8, the camp prepares players for the upcoming flag football and tackle football seasons by emphasizing proper technique, athletic development, and football fundamentals in a fun, high-energy environment.

 

Athletes will receive instruction from former NFL fullback Bradie Ewing along with experienced area coaches. Instruction will cover the essential skills needed to compete on both offense and defense while helping athletes develop confidence, discipline, and a greater understanding of the game.

Camp instruction will include:

  • Footwork & Agility – Ladder drills, cone drills, change-of-direction techniques, balance, and body control.

  • Speed & Explosiveness – First-step acceleration, sprint mechanics, jumping, and power development.

  • Football Fundamentals – Proper stance, starts, tackling fundamentals (form only), blocking technique, ball security, and safe football movement.

  • Position-Specific Skills – Age-appropriate instruction for offensive and defensive positions, including quarterback, running back, receiver, offensive line, defensive line, linebacker, and defensive back.

  • Football IQ – Basic offensive and defensive concepts, reading keys, pursuit angles, leverage, and decision-making.

  • Competition Drills – Fun skill competitions and football challenges that reinforce proper technique.

  • Youth Combine Testing – Athletes will have the opportunity to participate in combine-style testing, including events such as the 40-yard dash, shuttle run, vertical jump, broad jump, and other football-specific athletic assessments.

Whether athletes are new to the game or preparing for another season, this camp provides an outstanding opportunity to develop fundamental skills, build confidence, and get ready for fall football.
